The 3rd Annual Lake Martin YP Polar Plunge was once again a big hit! Held on Saturday, Jan. 13th at Kowaliga Restaurant, the event was up against some bitter cold weather and a stiff breeze blowing in off the Lake. That, however, didn't stop 300+ people from showing up for the fun that featured great food & drinks from Kowaliga, live music, a costume contest and, of course, the plunge! The annual January dip into the lake serves as a fundraiser for the Lake Martin Resource Association, and we're thrilled to be able to contribute $3,050.97 to LMRA from this year's event. LMRA will use the funds to continue the expansion of their lighted buoy program. Thanks to everyone that came out to support the event, and thanks also to our very generous sponsors who played a huge role in making sure the event was a success! Check out the short video recap below!
On Friday, Feb. 2nd, members of Lake Martin Young Professionals were joined by LMRA board members for a check presentation from the funds raised at the 2018 Polar Plunge!
